The opening hooked me and I was invested in and rooting for Henley until the last word. While the story focuses on Henley and her recovery, it was Graham who stole the show for me. His patience and protectiveness. How his love shone through all of his actions. How he suffered right along with Henley. How he didn't turn away even when it hurt him. How he celebrated with her. How he made new memories for the both of them. That's not to say that Henley was a slouch. Far from it. She was strong and sassy and determined not to let the mystery of who was threatening her stop her. The danger kept escalating until it came to a heart-stopping head. My heart was racing and I was reading furiously to see how it would all play out. While the dialogue was a bit repetitive at times, I found myself not minding because it added to the overall feeling of Henley trying to recapture her life. From start to finish, Hope Jones, had me immersed in the mystery and romance of it all. And that ending, it was just what Graham and Henley deserved after all they had been through.
