Oh, how I have come to love those Gallo's - from Maria and sal right through to all the amazing men and the fantastic woman they have raised. Without Me is the story of Anthony and Max - the final asshole brother finds someone that will most definitely tie him up in knots! It is hilarious to watch as things progress.Without Me is refreshingly different from the rest of the series. Anthony and Max find themselves facing real life struggles that are not only relevant but also really refreshing to read about. This book also deals with an issue that is very close to Chelle Bliss's heart, Ataxia and she writes it from a place that will truly move your heart and soul. This book also delivers the long awaited fall of Anthony - we have all been waiting for him to meet his match, and Chelle Bliss has crafted her perfectly in the form of Max. She matches Anthony on every single level, and I floved it - she doesn't take any of his crap and in fact has him running around in circles, even to the point that he is facebook stalking her friends!! Hilarious. This story was full of all the elements we have come to know and love in this series: sweet, sexy, sinful, hilarious but still full of real issues. I loved that Chelle Bliss took things so much deeper in this book - it was really an eye opener and the story just gave us such a different insight into Anthony. I loved how she opened up these initially hard and tough characters - they didn't give an inch, but as we began to unpeel the layers through reading the book, we find out the reasons for them being so hard and tough. It was so beautifully executed and it was impossible not to connect with these phenomenal characters. As can be expected with a Chelle Bliss novel too, the sexiness and chemistry between the two characters is beyond SMOKING hot! Chelle Bliss nailed this and I promise you the scenes between these two will leave you needing a cigarette! HOLY HOTNESS! I loved that again we have glimpses into the Gallo family life - I always love catching up with my old friends and finding out how life has been treating them. Also as a treat, we are introduced to Max's HILARIOUS and larger than life family. It is impossible not to fall in love with these characters that Chelle Bliss has created - even though they are in the background, they form a big part of this story. They are artfully written, and so 3 dimensional, it is almost as if they are having their hilarious conversations right in front of you. Some of the conversations literally had my mouth gaping wide open - HILARIOUS! Overall, you could definitely sense that this is the most personal novel that Chelle Bliss has written in this story. I loved that Max was this amazingly strong and independent woman (although to be fair - all the women in this series have been amazing examples of this), although she has lived her life with a certain amount of trepidation because of various factors she is still fierce and I freaking loved that about her. Anthony falls and he falls hard, and that had me absolutely gigglind in delight - what a pleasure to read. I loved this book, I loved this series and I love Chelle Bliss. The epilogue was a sweet piece of heaven to follow up this magnificent story and I know you will all love it as much as I did.
