But Nick doesn’t do relationships and Lainie doesn’t want to get hurt again… ** An action-packed standalone romance in Anna Hackett’s new series, Sentinel Security. ** 3.5 Heart Review by Ashley I love me a romance with a touch of the forbidden. Throw some danger and a military man into the mix...catnip! I loved that Lainie wasn't taking the threats coming her way laying down. She was bold and determined to fight. For her company and herself. Now she just had to get her best friend's broody brother to see her point of view. Easier said than done when it came to the stubborn protector. Especially when the chemistry between them could've been cut with a butter knife and the danger kept escalating. Lainie and Nick's friends-to-lovers romance was as thrilling as it was sweet. There were a few guest appearances that left me pleasantly surprised. And while some parts were predictable, Wolf was a good start to what I'm sure is going to be a fun series.
