I somehow always manage to forget how much I love the Gallo's and their brand of crazy until I see that Chelle Bliss is bringing them back for more. My goodness this bunch never ceases to make me sweat and laugh and swoon.
I was super excited to get more James and Izzy because these two, with their super strong personalities is always a good time and smokin' hot. I liked seeing them interact with their family, parents and children included. Izzy's bond with her mom is very special and I really liked the tender moments between the two letting me see that softer side to her. And James, too. Comforting and supporting Izzy through so much uncertainty. I really liked how this book tied both of Bliss's worlds together, the Gallo's and the ALFA PI crew. A case James is working on puts him and Izzy in the middle of a very dangerous game. But I have to say I was a touch disappointed that the conflict was resolved so early on. I was like wow- there's still a good chunk of the book left, is the drama really over? Oh well! Chelle Bliss redeemed herself though because the ending of Worship Me was just wonderful. It was family and friends and sexiness and humor with happiness and love.
